Software Development Center (SDC)Our work
The University of Utah, in conjunction with the Scientific Computing and Imaging (SCI) Institute and Technology & Venture Commercialization (TVC), created the Software Development Center in the Fall of 2009. The SDC, a joint effort across campus, was established to find and develop promising University of Utah software projects, and to disseminate them to the public from one centralized source.
The SDC has a multifaceted mission. It includes creating a clear distribution channel for University software projects, developing state of the art entrepreneurial applications, and training students to become professional software developers.
The Software Development Center has worked on a wide range of projects from professional industrial algorithms, university medical tools and student intern directed applications.Learn More »
