Software Development Center (SDC)
Our workThe University of Utah, in conjunction with the Scientific Computing and Imaging (SCI) Institute and Technology & Venture Commercialization (TVC), created the Software Development Center in the Fall of 2009. The SDC, a joint effort across campus, was established to find and develop promising University of Utah software projects, and to disseminate them to the public from one centralized source.
Our mission
The SDC has a multifaceted mission. It includes creating a clear distribution channel for University software projects, developing state of the art entrepreneurial applications, and training students to become professional software developers.
